Arab Man Acrylic Painting
Once, I was asked: “Where were you born?” I simply replied, “I was born in Romania.” The response was: “No, not exactly. You were born in the world. Wherever you are, you exist. Yet day by day, you build your own barriers.”
In 2022, when I painted this Arab man, I did not know that one day I would live in the United Arab Emirates. Still, the subconscious often speaks of what already exists within our energy. The power in man’s eyes must first be felt, perceived, and only then seen. They say the eyes are the mirror of the soul—and it is true. Look into someone’s eyes, and you will discover the true essence of their being. The eyes never lie; they reveal truths that a face may conceal.
At that time, having just returned from a trip to the UAE, I was fascinated by the way people meet your gaze, especially men. At first, I thought their intensity came from a different culture, but soon I understood that there lies an ancient art: a direct gaze, seeking to touch the soul, not just the face. To read a soul through the eyes is a subtle art. I am still deeply fascinated by it, and I believe that beyond any expression, the eyes will never deceive you. Intuition will always reveal the quality and truth of a soul. I noticed that men often hold your gaze, long and steady, as if searching for an answer to an unspoken question that stubbornly lingers in the air. Within that look exists a quiet, present power—something you feel before you can even explain it.
