Description
Abstract Mandala Artwork
Reflections of nature is a mandala painting that swirls with the essence of summer’s warmth. At its center, a golden flower unfolds its petals like gilded whispers of dawn. Radiant hues of copper and bronze form delicate tendrils that wind outward, each petal a stroke of red and pink blending seamlessly into the canvas. The mandala’s circumference dances with intricate patterns, reminiscent of dappled sunlight filtering through a canopy of leaves, shimmering in shades of emerald and jade. In this intricate dance of colors, metallic gold weaves through like a river of molten sunshine, casting reflections that ripple across the mandala’s surface. Each layer reveals a new detail: tiny blossoms in purple, teal and green peeking from behind the floral pattern creating a mosaic of summer’s vibrant tapestry.
The artwork comprises of dot painting methods that uses small, deliberate dots of paint to build up intricate patterns and imagery. Each dot, often applied with a fine-tipped brush or tool, contributes to the larger composition, creating a sense of depth and texture. This method allows for a gradual blending of colors, where the viewer’s eye perceives the image in its entirety only when seen from a distance. The other technique used is brush swooshes. These sweeping gestures create a sense of energy and spontaneity, contrasting with the meticulous precision of dot work. Together, dot painting and brush swooshes can form a dynamic balance—where the structured, meditative repetition of dots meets the free-flowing expression of brushstrokes. The painting captures the essence of metallic hues in the summer, where every stroke is a testament to the fleeting beauty of a summer’s day, preserved in the timeless symmetry of a mandala.
