Description
Acrylic Pop Art
This colorful artwork in fusion with dot mandala technique is about letting go of all insecurities and trusting in the present moment to allow the painting to evolve. The half mandala style has vibrant and happy colors like yellow, pink, orange, magenta along with shades of blue, teal, sea green and purple. I wanted to make a bold impact with broad black brushstrokes in between the color scheme to highlight the design in the background and at the same time bring them together with the dot painting with acrylic paint. Much like our world where we can be from different areas, backgrounds or culture but there are things like art that brings us all together on one platform just enjoying the euphoria. It is more likely a state of realization and acceptance of a chaotic existence in which each one of us finds themselves gratefully, experiencing a core feeling of joy, the sheer happiness and gratefulness for existing in this world and blessed to be able to do what we love the most.
This artwork is one of the most versatile pieces that can be installed horizontally/ vertically, upwards or downwards as you visualize it. This painting really reflects myself in terms of the vibrance and colorful soul and the best way to describe it is with Edward Hopper quote “If I could say it in words there would be no reason to paint”.
